Top University Success for Earlscliffe Students

Posted: 5th September 2025

Earlscliffe is a proudly inclusive international school, where students study predominantly in their second language and enter with a broad spectrum of abilities. This year, we are delighted to celebrate the achievements of our 2025 graduates, who have secured places at some of the world’s most prestigious universities.

An impressive 48% of our students are progressing to the UK’s Top 20 universities, and 66% to the UK’s Top 50.

Many more will continue their studies at leading institutions across Europe, the United States, and beyond, a testament to both their dedication and the supportive community they found here at Earlscliffe.

Due to the international nature of our school we attract a high level of students with a keen focus on the human sciences. Therefore, many students chose to continue their studies in this realm, with 58% of this year’s graduates studying Business Management or Economics. Among them, we are delighted to congratulate Coral, who has been accepted to Durham University (ranked 5th in the UK) to study Business & Management.

We are especially proud of the many individual success stories that make up this year’s graduating class. Four of our students, Sasha, Rashyd, Jayden (former Basketball Captain), and Mara (former Head Girl), have been awarded places at Loughborough University, one of the UK’s top-ranked institutions. Their chosen fields are as diverse as their talents: Geography with Economics, Accounting & Finance, Economics and Management, and Product Design Engineering.

Meanwhile, Steph, Ryan, and Solena will be joining the University of Exeter (11th in the UK rankings), where they will pursue Psychology, Finance, and Marketing & Management.

We are absolutely delighted to share Daria’s 3 A* A-level grades, the result of two years of consistent hard work and dedication. Daria was offered a place at the University of Bath, and Torino in Italy, but decided to accept a place at IE University in Madrid, Spain.

Daria is a highly academically capable student, who arrived at Earlscliffe as a conscientious student who always wanted to secure the very best outcomes.

She discovered a true talent for Art during her A-levels. Working as a team with the teaching faculty and her family, she redirected her ambitions towards Architecture.

Daria was a little shy upon arrival, but courageously stepped beyond her natural comfort zone, embracing leadership roles and serving as treasurer of the fundraising committee. She has been a cherished member of our community, well-liked by students and staff alike, and we will miss her.

Daria shares her honest experience of boarding at Earlscliffe, highlighting the structured routine, challenges like homesickness, the friendships and independence she gained, and offering advice for future students.

Other students also continue to shine on the global stage.

These remarkable achievements reflect not only the academic excellence of our students but also the resilience, creativity, and global outlook they have developed at Earlscliffe.

If you are inspired by their success and wish to discover how Earlscliffe can prepare you for your next steps, whether in the UK or abroad, please contact us and learn more about studying and boarding at our school.
