🏆Earlscliffe Football Team: League Champions!

A massive congratulations to the Earlscliffe football team for an incredible achievement in their debut season! 

We’re thrilled to announce that Earlscliffe has been crowned Kent FA U19 Inter-Schools League Champions!

The team’s journey has been nothing short of inspiring – showcasing outstanding skill, relentless determination, and impeccable teamwork. Over the course of six matches, they secured 4 wins, 1 draw, and just 1 loss, finishing with an impressive goal tally of 23 goals scored while conceding only 10 goals.

A standout performer this season was Arthur, who finished as the league’s top scorer with an incredible 12 goals. His sharp finishing and consistent performances were instrumental in driving the team to victory.

Key highlights included dominant performances such as a thrilling 5-2 win early in the season and a crucial 3-1 victory in a must-win match that sealed the title. The squad’s resilience was evident in a hard-fought 2-2 draw that showcased their ability to rally under pressure.

Team captain Paul, reflected on the achievement:
“This is a huge success for Earlscliffe as this is our first season in a competitive league. I am so proud of the team’s effort this season and even prouder to have led the boys to victory.”
