Laura graduated from Canterbury Christ Church University with a degree in Sport and Exercise Psychology and completed teacher training in 2010. Since then, she has worked as a dedicated Physical Education and Dance teacher, and in 2021 began teaching Psychology as well. A qualified hockey coach and former player in South East England, Laura brings a wealth of sporting experience to both the classroom and extracurricular activities.
In 2022, Laura completed the National Professional Qualification for Leading Teacher Development (NPQLTD), demonstrating a commitment to professional growth and supporting the development of colleagues. Outside of school, Laura is passionate about sport, whether playing, watching, or coaching, and is also actively involved in charitable work. Each year, she takes on fundraising challenges, with a notable achievement being a walk along Hadrian’s Wall in support of the mental health charity MIND.
Laura’s strong background in both education and sport brings energy, empathy, and a holistic approach to guiding and mentoring students as a Senior Tutor.
