Our exam results often rival those of more selective independent schools and grammar schools, even though the majority of our students are non-native speakers and haven’t had a British educational background.

A-level Results

In 2026, Earlscliffe celebrated another year of strong A-Level performance, with 101 entries across A-Level and equivalent qualifications.

Results showed year-on-year improvement, with 56% of all grades awarded at A*/B.

Several subjects achieved particularly outstanding outcomes, including:

Economics (80% A*/B)
History (83% A*/B)

Good performance was also seen in Business (75% A*/C) and Maths (80% A*/C), reflecting the breadth and consistency of academic success across the curriculum.

GCSE Results

Earlscliffe is a non-selective school, and our international students complete an intensive one-year GCSE programme designed to build strong academic foundations.

This preparation ensures they are well equipped to progress to A-level study or to join one of the specialised diploma courses offered at Earlscliffe.

In 2026, our GCSE results reflected this success, with 63% of grades awarded at 9-4 (A*/C), demonstrating solid achievement across a diverse student cohort.
