Nicola joins Earlscliffe with an impressive professional background. Originally trained as a research scientist in biochemistry, she has worked with global teams and holds a PhD in Biochemistry alongside a first-class degree in Biotechnology. This strong academic foundation continues to inform her educational philosophy, which is rooted in evidence-informed practice, intellectual rigour, and a deep commitment to collaboration, curiosity and continuous improvement.
Nicola has held several senior leadership positions, including Acting Principal, Vice Principal and most recently, Senior Deputy Head.
Throughout these roles, she has maintained a clear focus on academic excellence, student progress and whole-school development, consistently demonstrating the ability to lead with clarity and purpose.
Nicola is committed to fostering a culture in which young people are ambitious, globally minded, and able to achieve exceptional outcomes.
