Sport at Earlscliffe is about more than just playing — it’s about growing, challenging yourself and finding balance.
Through our Sport, Culture and Service (SCS) programme, students take part in weekly sport, wellbeing and community activities. Wednesday afternoons are dedicated to these experiences, giving you the chance to try something new, stay active and get involved beyond the classroom. From football, basketball and rugby to tennis, golf, swimming, horse-riding, and even padel, there’s something for everyone.
Sport also plays a key role in the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, offering opportunities for service, teamwork and adventure — including trips to Snowdonia and beyond.
For students who want to take things further, we offer High Performance Programmes in basketball and football. These allow you to develop your skills at a high level while continuing to focus on your academic goals.
Whatever your starting point, sport at Earlscliffe helps you build confidence, resilience and a strong sense of purpose — on and off the field.
